Welcome Ministry

Are you looking for an opportunity to serve here at Blackshear Place? If you are, we can certainly use you. Did you know that before Pastor ever preaches or we have sung one song, our guests have formed an opinion of our church based on how they were welcomed and what they first experienced when their feet hit the pavement of our parking lot. The Welcome Ministry exists because of people who diligently serve the Lord and want to make people feel very special from the time they step foot on our campus until the time they leave.

Within the Welcome Ministry, there are several opportunities to serve:

Greeters: Our greeters are at every entrance before all services ensuring that our members and guests are met with a smile and made to feel welcome at our church.

Section Host/Hostess: Our hosts and hostesses work inside the Worship Center welcoming our members and guests while also ensuring they find a place to sit.

Parking Lot: Our parking lot attendants provide direction and ensure that we have an even flow of traffic for everyone coming to Blackshear Place.

Ground Transportation: Our shuttle drivers transport members and guests safely to and from all buildings and shuttle stops.
