Pastoral Care
In Peter, we are commanded to “Be shepherds of God's flock that is under our care…” (1 Peter 5:2). Our Pastoral Care department takes this call to serve very seriously. We work hand-in-hand with our deacon ministry to love and serve the entire family in times of happiness and times of pain. We are there during times of happiness at the birth of a precious baby and during times of pain as you lay a loved one to rest. We strive to touch the wayward and the homeless and minister to benevolent needs in our church and community. We are there to simply listen when you need to cry or talk or just need a friend. We minister to our church family and community through the power of prayer; and we celebrate with you as we seek to make your wedding dreams a reality. Pastoral care is at the heart of what it means to serve Jesus. Please call us if we can ever minister to you or your family.

 Blackshear Place Baptist Church offers a Budget Accountability Ministry for families that are interested in financial accountability assistance.
Budget Accountability Offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8:30 pm.

» Gainesville Care Center P.A.S.T.
(Post-abortion Support and Treatment) Class
The Care Center is offering Bible study classes for women experiencing grief from an abortion. The confidential small group meets two hours a week for 10 weeks. Contact: 770-535-1413 or office@gainesvillecare.org.
